A funny moment at "The Bean" as it's known to most Chicagoans. Officially called "Cloud Gate", the seamless, stainless steel sculpture was designed by British artist Anish Kapoor.

This was one of my first editorial assignments for the "1000 Words" section. This was taken the day after Thanksgiving outside of Marshall Field's on State Street on the "Skate on State" ice rink. Marshall Field's and the rink are no longer there.
